Advertising is everywhere we look.
Ads are stories that companies tell to interest prospective users. But there is no easy way to filter out existing users (who don’t need same story) or non-users.
The best marketing filter is to segment people in groups and look for maximum exposure.
The main side effect is that the system dumbfully bombards so many stories that no one really attracts my attention.
People also tell stories – of their experiences. Often these experiences are from products /services of companies. When companies become part of people stories, they get free marketing, with no side effects.
